I figured, you know being me, just.. different, I'd start a 1700's-1800's rp on a starwars board.. because you know I'm just odd like that but yeah.. if anyone wants to join in.. just join whenever.
Fang pushed back the lush velvet curtain covering the carriage window and sighed heavily for all that could be seen were the tops of trees and the cresent moon sending its silver rays dancing across her face, oh how she hated that be d**ned thing. She allowed the curtain to fall once more as she heard the patter of rain, it was hard not hear every little sound when along these country roads. Her hand went to the golden ruby encrusted locket at her throat instinctively and she leant back against the soft padding of the bench, trying to relax.
Tugging on a strand of her deep midnight blue hair, her dark brown eyes flashed at the thought of finally reaching home…going back to the city of york and she felt a chill travel down her spine at the very thought.Shrugging the thin shawl higher around her shoulders putting the icy grip that held her down to the cold december weather, she listened to the sound of the horses hooves against the dirt road.
The reason Fang had left the city in the first place been sent to London was because she had no family and was searching for someplace better, but failed to find it. So she returned home.
Fang tapped her fingers lightly upon the wooden framing of the small window and she felt a jolt ripple through her as she spotted a shape in the distance. She soon settled down as she realised the shadow was just a small sapling blowing in the wind. Scolding her wild imagination she frowned wondering why nights such as this made her feel so nervous. She realised she would probably feel even more on edge as her carriage came to an abrupt stop. As the carriage jolted to its stop she looked up as though cursing the driver where he sat and she opened up the carriage door with some difficulty and she looked up to find him gone. "Wonderful....another toilet break is it Mr.Rogers?!" Fang called with a sigh to the rapidly disappearing shadow of her driver into the forest though they had now reached one of the gates of York.
"Shouldn't indulge in the demon drink so much then..." She murmered..though to herself. She squinted to get a better look to see which route they had taken and she arched a brow noting this was the market part of town full of stalls long closed up for the night, small businesses such as tailors and smiths and taverns for the workers to go to at the end of their hard day.Though of course, many still worked into the night.
Giving the lever at the side of the carriage a gentle kick the set of silver steps fell down into place, allowing Fang to tread down onto the cobblestone street. Brushing a strand of hair from her eyes she frowned and looked round for some sort of activity...a sign of life. But then again at this time of night she doubted that possible.Looking to see if her driver were coming back she then turned and with total disregard for her loathsome driver she walked into the city itself, feeling confident she would be safe due to the fact no-one appeared to be around and also she carried a pistol in the secret pocket at the base of the corset of her blood red and black embelished dress.
